Castle Country RV opened its doors to the public in April 2012. Owner Jeff Child had worked in the RV industry for many years prior to opening his own business. The RV dealership he was previously working for closed their doors and Child knew he had a passion for the business and could run a successful RV dealership himself. Child grew up around RVs and his family has always owned one. He has many memories of family trips in the RVs and wanted to open an affordable dealership so others could also enjoy them as well.Castle Country RV offers a large variety of new and used trailers that would fit any familys needs. They stock a wide variety of different brands and models including Wildcat, Puma, Alpine, Avalanche, Cyclone, Carbon and Haulmark. The dealership offers camp trailers, enclosed trailers and motor homes.Castle Country RV also offers various services, such as hitch installation and maintenance for all RVs. Parts and many other services and maintenance options are also available. Delivery is an option for those who do not live in the Castle Country area, but still wish to purchase from the dealership.
Utahs Castle Country Acquires Funtime Rvs Oregon Stores

Utah-based Castle Country RV Thursday announced that an agreement has been signed to acquire the two existing locations of Funtime RV in Sandy and Tualatin, Oregon, with plans for the acquisition to close in February, according to a press release from Lankford Consulting Group.
Castle Country RV, with two locations in Helper and Logan, Utah, also owns and operates Legacy RV Center in Salt Lake City.
For over 20 years Jerry JD Fisk, owner of Funtime RV, has operated a business that focused on both the customer and employee experience which has been the cornerstone for his long term success, said Jason Haugen, CEO of Castle Country. It is these aligned values that makes this the perfect fit for our organization.
Legacy RV Center was purchased by the Haugens in 2018 and in 2020 they purchased Castle Country RVs two locations in Helper and Logan, Utah. The addition of the two Funtime stores will put them at five total locations for their company, and according to Jason Haugen, they are just getting started.
Haugen added, my father has always been my business mentor and has taught me that people and culture are the key to a successful company. We love the RV industry and we are looking to continue the growth of our business where the cultural fit is right.

Im Extremely Pleased With These Folks
Im extremely pleased with these folks at the Logan facility. They did what they said they would when they said they would. On top of that when I return around 10 days later to see about a adjustment on my unit unannounced, there service tech made the adjustment with no grumbling or moaning right then. I would use these folks again if the occasion occurred.

Don’t buy from these people they sold us a 50000 piece of crap they won’t warranty anything we have been waiting now for 3 months to have kitchen chairs replaced and find out they haven’t even ordered them won’t fix fridge or thermostat or replace curtains that have screws poking out Won’t return phone calls just keep pawning off to anyone they have very poor customer service Warning don’t purchase from these people

Utah Dealership Acquires Funtime Rv
Castle Country, a Salt Lake City- based company that also owns Legacy RV, has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the two existing locations of Funtime RV in Sandy and Tualatin, Ore. The acquisition is expected to close in February.

Legacy RV of Salt Lake City, Utah, was purchased by the Haugens in 2018 and in 2020 they purchased two Castle Country RV locations in Helper and Logan, Utah. The addition of these two stores puts the company at five locations, and according to Jason Haugen, this is just the start.
Haugen said, My father has always been my business mentor and has taught me that people and culture are the key to a successful company. We love the RV industry and we are looking to continue the growth of our business where the cultural fit is right.

We had a great experience working with Staci to find the camping trailer that best fits our family. She was helpful and generous to stay a few minutes late to walk us through different options. We went to other RV dealers in UT and felt rushed as the store was closing. Staci was great at communicating and the dealership did an exceptional job at getting the trailer prepped quickly.

Our Initial Visit Was Great Then Crap
Our initial visit was great! Everything from there was horrible. The financing was a joke. Customer service was a joke. Service department was a joke. If they werent the only dealer in the state with the rv we wanted we would have definitely gone somewhere else. I think we waited well over 6 months for parts that were missing on our new rv and having to deal with 5 different people in the service department to receive them. Horrible.
