Introduction:
This commercial RV park doesn’t look like much, but it has some really nice amenities, and it provides excellent access to downtown San Antonio.
to read about our criteria for campground reviews.
The Basics:
Overall Rating: 4.2/5
Price per night / Discounts: $35 / Daily rate is $43. We stayed for a week, so we got the weekly rate of $36 per night. We also got 10% off with AAA. They offer a Good Sam discount as well.
Our Site #: 141
Privacy Rating :
2.5/5: Like most commercial RV parks, this one is basically a parking lot with RVs parked right next to one another. There was decent site separation, but no natural barriers. Our line of RV’s also backed up to another RV park which we were separated from by a chain link fence. Across from us was some unused equipment and an RV that appeared to be parked there long term. It all felt kind of junky, to be honest.
Location Rating :
5/5: This park was right off I-10 and very easy to get to. It is located right on the city bus line that goes downtown, so we were able to take public transportation to the main attractions, as well as to some other locales around the city. The neighborhoods near the park aren’t that great, but you can find the necessities if you need them. The park was perfectly located for touring downtown for a couple days, but I wouldn’t want to spend more than a couple days or a week there. .
